Ingredients:
1 15-oz garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoon tahini or peanut butter
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 garlic clove, mashed
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
1/2 cup water
Directions:
Process all the ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour hummus into a shallow serving dish. Sprinkle with cumin, paprika and parsley springs if desired.
Serve with pita bread wedges.
